Līga Žogla has PhD in engineering (environmental sciences) and has been working as a project manager in EKODOMA Ltd. for more than 10 years in fields of energy efficiency and renewable energy. She has experience in development of feasibility studies for local district companies and working on energy efficiency projects in industry. Liga has also extensive experience in organization of a variety of environmental educational activities such as training courses, seminars and workshops for different target groups (students, households, representatives of municipalities and different companies). In the past years she has been more focusing on energy planning. She has managed various national and EU founded projects on energy behaviour change, development of SEAPs/SECAPs and implementation of energy management system (ISO 50001) for local authorities. Liga has also coordinated the H2020 Compete4SECAP project – Energy management competition for local authorities for uptake and enhance of Sustainable Energy and Climate Action Plans.
Liga lives in Riga neighbourhood and speaks Latvian and English.
